You can do anything for a year. At least that is what I was told when I decided that I wanted to move to a different state. Everyone says that your twenties is the time to try new things, so that is what I did. How am I supposed to know if I like something if I never try it?
I told everyone I was moving in July, and by September 1st, I was on to the next! I decided to move to a city where I still would have family near by. That was my only “must have.” I signed a lease to an apartment that I never even looked at and only applied to one job (which worked out).
I guess what I am trying to say is, you can make anything work. You just have put you big kid pants on and try it! If you are feeling uncomfortable, chances are you are making the right move for yourself!
I have been in my city for six months now and I am so happy I took that leap! I don’t know how long I will stay here for, but I do know where ever I decide to go, I can do anything for a year! After all, it is my life and I will only make decisions that I know will make me happy. So if you are thinking about taking a big leap, just know that you can do anything for a year!
